Our why…
We believe friendships shouldn’t be hard to make. Not in college, and definitely not in adulthood. Socialista exists to remove the awkwardness, the pressure, and the “who do I go with?” anxiety that stops so many people from putting themselves out there.
Every event we host is built around one core idea: you belong here the moment you show up. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’re stepping into an environment where people are excited to meet you.
Through fitness, social events, and shared experiences, we’re redefining what community can look like authentic + rooted in human connection.
Our mission is to help you find your people, expand your comfort zone, and experience how good life feels when you’re surrounded by others on the same journey.
Meet the founder
I’m Nai, the founder of Socialista and like so many people, I learned quickly that making friends isn’t as effortless as it once was. In school and college, community was built in: sororities, frats and clubs. Belonging was part of the environment.
But it doesn’t feel that easy especially in such an online world. Meeting new people can feel awkward or intimidating. Even saying “hi” first becomes a whole thing.
I found myself asking:
Why can’t community feel as natural as it used to?
That’s when Socialista was born — a community created to bring people together offline. What started as a simple idea has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined, and I’m so grateful you’re here to be part of it.
